TRPE — The Real Property Experts

People find the name in three different forms — TRPE, TRPE Real Estate, The Real Property Experts — and reasonably assume they are three different firms. They are not. This page exists to say plainly what the business is, where it operates, and how to verify it, because in this industry that should be the easy part.

Where the name came from

I started in London property in 2006, as an agent with no contacts and no advantages. I opened my first brokerage in 2007 and, in 2011, founded Nazemi Property Consultancy — a business that carried my own surname for a decade.

In 2021 I retired the family name and relaunched in London as The Real Property Experts. The reason was not branding vanity. A personal name limits a business to the person: it does not scale past the founder, and it quietly tells clients that one individual is the product. "The Real Property Experts" was a statement about standards, and TRPE was the short form people actually used out loud.

In 2022 I moved to Dubai and opened TRPE Dubai at Ascott Park Place on Sheikh Zayed Road. The thesis was simple: Dubai's market was accelerating, international buyers were arriving faster than the professional infrastructure to serve them properly, and a London-trained process applied to a Gulf market would be a genuine differentiator rather than a slogan.

The two offices

Both are real, staffed offices. If you are checking us out — and you should — these are the details to check against the public registers.

The Dubai ORN is the number that matters most. Every brokerage legally operating in Dubai must hold a current Office Registration Number issued by RERA, part of the Dubai Land Department. You can check 28357 against the DLD register. I would encourage you to check it for any agency you are about to hand money to, including this one — the ones who object to being verified are telling you something.

What the business actually does

Sales, lettings, property management and investment advisory, in both markets. The mix differs by city, because the markets differ.

In Dubai, the weight is on off-plan and ready residential across the main communities, and the majority of buyers are overseas. That shapes everything: the work is as much about remote due diligence, payment-plan structure and developer track record as it is about the unit itself.

In London, the weight is on sales and lettings in and around Marylebone and central London, with landlord and tenant representation and ongoing management. It is a slower, more regulated, more documented market, and the standards it forced on me are the ones I exported.

The part most brokerages don't have

The same team runs its own software rather than renting someone else's. Offplans.com is an off-plan property portal with thousands of Dubai projects, built and operated in-house. FixMyProperty.ai is a UK platform connecting homeowners to vetted trades.

I am wary of "AI-powered" as a marketing phrase, so to be concrete: the value is that we own the data layer under the brokerage. Pricing, inventory, developer performance and lead handling run through systems we control and can change the same week we spot a problem. Most agencies of this size are passengers on portals they do not control. That is the difference, and it is an operational one, not a magical one.
